Many Patreon users looking towards blockchain techology

in blockchain •  6 years ago  (edited)

Patreon is a service used for fans to donate money to help support the creators of different kinds of content. Latley many high profile patreon user's have stop recieving money from patreon, without warning or notice in most cases. Today the Rubin report had a live streamed podcast, in which he talks about the problems he and others are having with patreon. He goes on to state that him and a group of heavy hitting patreon user's facing the same issue are now looking at replatforming using blockchain and crypto technology. Is this the push the blockchain has been waiting for? If they switch over to blockchain technology with similar success, it wont be long before others follow.
