A lot of people are being quick to upvote this but I don't want this at all. There's a lot of problems with this idea, mainly that someone could own the real land and someone else can own the AR version. This means if someone doesn't like you they can buy the AR section your house is at and set up hate speech and you'd be powerless to stop it.

The only way to combat it is to buy the AR version of any house you buy in real life and hope it's available, meaning you'll need to buy land twice just to keep yourself safe from AR vandalism and hate.

Imagine if someone buys the land you're living at and sets up a photoshoped image of your wife on a nude body in your lawn. You'd be hard pressed to remove it unless you want to pay money to your tormentor.
