According to blocktivity.info STEEM has went from handling over 50% of all global blockchain transactions, to now 45% in a little over a week.
Now if we take a look from April 13th we will see that Bitcoin and other altcoins have stayed relatively the same, and Bitshares has also lost some activity, but if we look at Ethereum it has went from 18.9% to 22% dominance.
Also if we take a look at Ethereum's CUI (capacity utilization index) it is still maxed out! โ ๏ธ
However, if we take a look at the overall market cap of these blockchains in comparison..
We see the 2 best performing blockchains (STEEM & Bitshares) do not even equal 1% combined!
Conclusion
So as always STEEM is still handling almost half of all blockchain transactions in the world, and even though Ethereum gained a few percentage points off of STEEM.. I have never seen STEEM's CUI above zero!

Hi stealthtrader,
Not surprising that Steem is still handling almost half of the translations on the block chain.
Good update...thanks

Me: "Steem is losing dominance!"
Also me: "Steem is at 45% of T H E E N T I R E B L O C K C H A I N E C O S Y S T E M. And EOS is fucking skyrocketing and it doesn't even have an active chain. Also Bitshares according to everyone is dead but yet up fucking, not forever, but 5ever percent and still encompassing double digit activity in the Blockchain market."
I feel you, but i would guess that Steem is DEFINITELY going to lose to the overall % as "regional influenced" chains everywhere take hold and great crypto adoption progresses over time. But let's not beat around the bush, I think they may lose "overall %" but I have a feeling these projecsts might maintain a healthy usage for as long as I can see as long as Ned doesn't keep Steem fluid, profitable, and useful in the case of steem and BTS committee, workers, economics, voters etc don't ruin it. We'll see for all we know it is already compromised by someone with a lot of money. :S anyways, I, and we, will see what these assets do, but I hope it is good because I hhold some :D

According to @penguinpablo we are over 950k accounts on steemit, and hopefully when we hit 1 million we will see STEEM hopefully go more "mainstream"but if you take a look at Facebooks user growth according to Yahoo Finance we could see a 1000x jump in STEEM/Steemit use by 2025.

I respect your thoughts on that but it makes you wonder from another light if current valuation hasnโt already been exceeded user activity.
