However, in this present world of highly advanced technology such as the smartphone, mobile devices and the internet the safe keeping of documents have gone a notch higher but in as much as the paper material is still used to store the documents it still won't last as paper have the following issues;

- The users data is exposed and as such at risk.
- The advanced technology have caused for the faking and forgery of documents, signature, brand and seal.
- Paper documents can easily be manipulated.
The ways by which documents are this days is highly centralized and this is a problem because if the central server gets hacked or broken all data will be completely lost, gone.
For example, someone who desires a post in his office but needs a diploma to acquire the position can easily design a fake one and submit it to the personnel officer and get the position, or in the case of high quality brand or product such as Gucci, its special brand design can easily be forged with the use of a computer, place it on low quality product and still sell it at the same price as the original product or in most cases at half the price.
The victims exploited of their brand tend to lose money and customers in the process while the fraudster wins all, and because there is no single database in charge of verifying products, diplomas, brands, signatures, seal, personal or business documents the fraudster gets away thereby violating the law.
