Blockchain.io – Reliable, Secure and Accountable Gateway to the Internet of Values

''Blockchain.io stands to be an example not only for the European market but also the global standards of crypto exchange operations.''

  • European ''Crypto exchange business'' needs to be drastically saved, difficult as law-maker in that region in can't seem to make up their mind. But now that France and somewhat Germany are warming up to the idea of regulating Cryptocurrencies, things could change. Hopefully, Blockchain.io can save Europe cause there are hardly any good exchanges besides Coinbase due to the strict regulation. Also a semi-decentralized Exchange, this is new to me as well, would like to see this happen!

Hello @mycryptomark

Blockchain.io is definitely a welcome initiative in the "Euro" region, if I may call it so. In fact, the way I see it is if Blockchain.io is able to tick the boxes that the regulators are wanting to see as checks and balances, then the adoption will be faster. So, in a nutshell, Blockchain.io can advise governments on formulating the regulatory framework. Cool, isn't it?

Besides, the semi-decentralized structure is required. Blockchain (I mean all of the blockchains out there) has not figured out a way to deal with latency. In such a state, if an exchange was to do the trade matching, etc. on-chain, then the operation will freeze if there is a surge in activity. Of course, do add the transaction cost of performing the operation on-chain. So, partly off-chain and centralized and partly on-chain and decentralized is a well-thought through solution!

Ya, confirm this because Germany only has Bitcoin.de! We need proper Exchanges here. To many Laws makers hate Crypto here, they don't understand!

I guess lawmakers hating crypto is an ongoing story most of the places. I guess, the issue is to figure out a way to stem the flow of FIAT in buying something which does not have basis as a product or service. That is what most countries are trying to address. That said, Europe has a reputation of starting slow but once they start it is going to be all fire! So, keep watching the space!
