Free Blockchain Seminar - Birmingham UK - Will change your life forever Saturday 29th July 2017

Cool cool! I am putting my content together and will look to do a webinar soon! what would you think is a good subject?

Also, even touching base on steemit. I'm super lucky, I tend to make about $1 on every post.

One thing I love doing though is curating good content but all I can offer is .02-.04c. How can us new Steemers get to point where we can make good earnings from curating and upvoting. I want to give back to the community.

Delegation - as a new steemer should we be trying to produce good content in the hope a curator will spot it and delegate steem to help us grow. Is that a goal as a new steemer?

I don't know if there is a private message in this platform, so i use wallet transactions to say what i need to say - if there is a way to give me and tips, from a guru like you's point of view - I'd be more than ears.

A webinar would be great, you could make it a steem exclusive and charge 1Steem entry or something! I'm just throwing ideas out there haha. Hope It helped! and I appreciate all the help you've thrown out there!

@starkerz

Sounds great! I appreciate your honesty and openess! i think this is great! The only way you can make good earnings from curating is picking great content before it trends (there are quite a lot of technicalities to this but not for a comment reply) and make sure you have a LOT of steempower.

As far as I know delegation of steempower is only for when a whale doesnt have time to curate, so they offer their steem power (delegateit) to another person who is amazing at curating. the curator then takes a cut. This is another way to make money on steemit.

You just need to find a whale... or if you have found a whale, you need to convince them that you are trustable, are a great curator and that you know exactly how to make the most out of curation for both the steemit community and the whale. at this point the whale may decide to delegate steem power to you. but I have not looked into this any further. maybe you can do loads of research on steem delegation and do a blog post on this to collect all the information into one place, I would certainly be interested to read that blog!! ;))

private messages at least direct messages are done either by sending 0.01 steem with a message or on steemitchat. there are also a lot of slack groups popping up, also use 'esteem' and 'busy' they are both seperate sites that run on the steemit blockchain.

I like the idea of charging 1 steem to enter the webinar.... something i should certainly look into,....

Additionally in order to earn money or gain follwers you MUST get invovled in initiatives that benefit the steemit universe, or create your own initiative. for example, I am doing free 5 minute videos to explain crypto, I am involved in publicising steemit in the UK, I am putting on free webinars to explain how blockhain works... I am not making much money from it, but my following is growing slowly and I see more and more people are interested. I think this is more or less the way to go. another cool idea is get a steemit tshirt printed or 4 and go get selfies with celebrities whie you are wearing your tshirt. post that, and you will get many upvotes!! even better if you can get the celeb to wear the tshirt! ;)) another thing to do is to take the steemit account name of a famous you tuber or personality who is not on steemit yet, copy and paste all their content to the steemit site and when there is a nice amount of money in the account contact the popular you tuber and tell them you will give them the passcodes to this account if they promise to use steemit to blog on. this will help them see how much money they are missing out on by not being on steemit.

@starkerz I'd be extremely interested in hearing your thoughts on where blockchain will take us 5-10 years from now.

Will Crypto ever be "Redundant" in a foreseeable future?

Industrys that could benefit through blockchain that from what we know, haven't delved into it.

Or from an Engineering and Tech point of view - What's possible that hasn't happened yet. We've seen projects come to light and burst into the industry not just as a currency but technology aswell, Ripple and Siacoin for example.

What can we expect to see burst onto the scene in the future that may blow peoples minds. (Not an exact prediction, just an example perhaps, I understand nobody knows 100%)

Also touching base on a few points you touch base on this weekend would be brilliant. After you've done it live, webinar format will be easy to touch base on those things that you deem important.

Look, i'll be straight up with you, I'm not super tech savy when it comes to understanding all of this technology. I do understand that it could very well pave the way to the future.

Thoughts on End of year market would be absolutely brilliant too!

Hope this gave you a few ideas, let me know what you think mate!

These ideas sound great!! ill take these on board and work them into some content at some point. maybe we can do a skype call and you can interview me with these questions...?? ;))

@starkerz - this could absolutely be an idea man! I also liked you idea about looking into how people are using delegation on the platform too.

I appreciate your openness and honesty too! There are so many topics we could touch on.

Perhaps we could even put together a collaborated blog/youtube video, something along the lines of "The Dummy & The Engineer - Breaking Down Blockchain" (obviously i'm the dummy) but you get the point! haha

Food for thought! I'll certainly be looking into doing that blog regrading how delegation is being used on the platform though.

Along with functionality, something super important.

Sounds great fella! certainly up for doing the video, although "the dummy" sounds harsh! lets keep in touch, and do this in the near future!

Im certainly happy to do a video with you answering the questions that you are struggling with, if that helps! you can do the editing?
