DEAR SHAREHOLDERS,
2017 was an extraordinary and foundational year for BlockCorp Industries. We demonstrated strong block-mining results; defined and delivered on our promise to acquire and consume Steemit.com; and we continued our future-history of Quantum Block Management (QBM) with the release of Universe 11.
With this solid foundation in place, 2019 (we are skipping 2018 because it will be a bad year for everyone) is shaping up to be a year of growth and opportunity for BlockCorp.
Acquisition of Steemit.com
Steemit was a social media platform where everyone gets paid for creating and curating content. It formerly leveraged a robust digital points system, called Steem that supported real value for digital rewards through market price discovery and liquidity. However they did a terrible job at this, so in 2017 we synergized them very hard until they converted the entire social media block chain network into our private email server.
As a show of solidarity we allowed the former CEO's @ned and @dan to remain as head of janitorial services! If you see them in the hallway make sure to 'upvote' them with a high five and requests to clean the bathrooms on sub-sub-sub Basement ☽.
We do still have random Steemit.com users wandering the hallways. Please report them to Hugh Jordan, Head of Security. Hugh assures me that these random users will be assimilated and returned to the block mines by the end of Q1 2019.
Our 2017 Performance
Employee Retention
The biggest problem in 2017 was employee retention. BlockCorp is a roleplaying game and our continued success depends on you! All exchanges are all done by inter-office email.
To expand employee retention and reduce unnecessary deaths we are creating a robust program of assimilation. The model depends on your ability to pick a character, assign yourself a title, big or small. BlockCorp believes in the most aggressive siloing in the industry, so we have positions for our positions positions!
This strategy depends on your ability to comment on Blockcorp posts in character! You can create your own email threads complaining about your lack of basic supplies to do your job or coordinate with your fellow employees to kill the interns on Level ☠. The world is your cubicle!
New Chat Room for Greater Employee Synergization
Furthermore in 2017 we created a chatroom channel at: https://steemit.chat/channel/blockcorpindustries in order to increase our quarterly cash dividend by fifteen percent from $0.20 to $0.23 per share. With a solid foundation in place, Fiscal 2019 is shaping up to be a year of growth and opportunity for BlockCorp.
