How to visit blocked websites in your school? How to bypass the firewall security at work place? How to access a website blocked in your country? These may sound as problems of different increasing intensities with more professional IT people taking care of the business of blocking you from visiting sites like facebook, youtube or porn at school/work place and netflix, hulu or torrent websites not available or banned in your country at national level.
I would like to tell you that they are not. There are some common solutions to bypass these network constraints. Given below are some solutions to this problem you might find helpful.
1. Web proxy servers
A web proxy server is just another computer sitting somewhere else (maybe in some other state in your country or another country itself) which makes all of your requests on the internet on your behalf. Now what does that imply? That any webpage you wish to visit now, you will not request that page from your location instead from the computer in the USA as if you are sitting on that computer surfing on the internet. So even is you are blocked from using a particular website somewhere you can pretend to be at somewhere else and surf freely because internet is free to surf that's how it was meant to be and that's how it should be.
Above I have shown how I used hide.me to pretend that I from Manassas, USA when I'm actually surfing from India. Network security administrator at your school/office may have blocked hide.me and other such web proxies (which you can find just by looking for free web proxies online on google), in that case you may look for other proxies here and at other places on the internet and learn here - How to setup browser to use a web proxy server, in one of my upcoming posts.
Even if your school or office has blocked you from searching for web proxy servers you can browse freely and safely by setting up a web proxy server at home by yourself following some easy steps. I will post a blog on the same and on more ways to get around networking constraints in your area in upcoming days, stay tuned.

I use university public wi-fi to prevent traffic spending on my phone. The problem is that they have blocked some websites and apps I like to visit. I solve it by installing a VPN app. Also, I feel safer with it. If you want, you can educate yourself and read about ios vpn.

Thanks for the article! Chrome blocking sites? Yeah, it’s annoying as hell. VPNs can help, but sometimes there are quicker tricks to get around those restrictions. Check this out: https://1browser.com/how-to-access-blocked-sites-on-chrome/ . No one should have to jump through hoops just to visit a damn website.
