Look into Blocko, relation with Aergo and Coinstack.

In this post, I would like to tell the readers about what is Blocko company, how it’s related to the Aergo project, and what is Coinstack.

General info

To start with, Aergo was developed on the Coinstack’s basement. Coinstack has been developing since 2014 by Blocko - the company we’ll talk about in this post. Generally, the company was established in 2014. The main investor and strategic partner of Aergo are Samsung (participated in investment Series A, B). Additionally, we know this is mostly a Korean company with more than 60 employees, 45 of them are the developers.

Blocko’s Clients

During 4 years of its existence, Blocko managed to start a lot of partnerships with a well-known Asian companies PayGate, JB Bank, LG CNS, Smart Grid Project Group, Lotte Card, Korea Exchange, Samsung card, Hyundai (Card, Capital, Commercial, Life), Hyundai & Kia motors, Gyeonggi Content Agency, Korea Internet and Security Agency, Financial Security Institute, Korea Institute of Science and Technology. I’ll write more details about the Blocko’s developments for this companies later in the block “Use Cases”

Besides the companies above, Blocko successfully provided it’s services to such companies as Microsoft Asure, IBM, Samsung, and Cisco.

The role of Blocko in Aergo’s ecosystem

Firstly, Blocko gave away it’s product Coinstack in “good hands” of Aergo. Since 2014, Coinstack has been permission-based project belonging to Blocko. After the establishing Aergo, Coinstack was included in the Core of Aergo and became open sourced. Blocko is playing an active role in the development, advisory, and support of the Aergo. Additionally, the company will operate as a stakeholder in the Aergo’s ecosystem. Judging by all the facts mentioned before, Blocko is a technical and strategical partner of Aergo. In the future, Blocko is planning to expand business-relations around the world. The company is focused mostly on Europe, Great Britain, North America, and Hon-kong.

At the moment it’s well-known fact that Blocko is planning to open it’s second Research and Development (R&D) office in the United Kingdom. Also, the company is going to promote its technologies in Europe and help existing partners (20+) to migrate to Aergo’s platform.

Development cases of Blocko

Blocko presented several use cases of its blockchain developments:

• OTC-market for Korean Exchange developed on the blockchain. This development provided several advantages to the * Exchange, like the total transparency of transactions, and reduction of transactions time.

• SSO-login and electronic application for credit cards for Samsung Card.

• The development simplified and improved user convenience between associates and 3rd parties.
  In-house security management system based on the blockchain for Hyundai Card.

• The project established a stable platform for over 2,000 end-points
  Management e-documents and employment contracts based on the blockchain for Hyundai and Kia Motors helped the companies to cut the additional cost for auth from the 3rd party.

• Electronic voting system for Gyeonggi-do province enabled thousands of residence to take votes on and off-line.

There’re 46 people in LinkedIn working for the Blocko. This is a great achievement for the project which is basically on the sale phase. The majority of contacts have the avatars, a large number of connections and experience, not fakes at all.
