I have talked to a Steemian named @Prettynicevideo enough that I knew I liked her. A Lot. She always amazed me how much she knew about everything. Watching her videos are a cross between The History Channel and sitting with a friend chatting.

She taught herself how to edit videos. I have to admit I am in awe of all the knowledge she has. Her talent for editing goes way beyond anything I have ever done. Prettynicevideo and I are a lot alike but also very different people too. The fact that she edits videos different than I do should come as no surprise.

Meeting her in person, I have to admit, I was a little intimidated. She has so much knowledge inside her I was afraid I would not be able to keep up with the conversations we would have.

Francesca, (@prettynicevideo), came to @TheAlliance Block Party a bit scared too. She really didn't know anyone that was going to be there but me. She has health issues that keep her close to home. She decided as I did, that meeting Steemians was more important to us. We are paying the price with our energy and bodies for the five days away from home but it was so worth it.

One of the many things I learned about Francesca was that she is a great teacher. I'm not talking plain great here. When I say great, I mean extraordinary. One evening while sitting around the dinner table Francesca asked me if I had tried the vlogging app she had been telling me about.

I had to admit I had not tried it yet.

@Mariannewest was sitting to my left at the dining table and heard us talking about videos. Poor Mariannewest has tried and tried to make vlogs but they take her so much time, it's just not worth it for her too do. I have tried over the years to help her learn but nothing is like someone sitting next to you answering your questions right then and there.

Francesca was so excited to show us Vlogit that both Mariannewest and I downloaded the app right there and then.

Mariannewest and I knew we were in trouble when we downloaded the App and had no idea what to do next! Francesca had the patience of a saint. She slowly went through the App explaining over and over again how it worked. After about an hour of teaching in a calm, soothing voice, Mariannewest had her first Vlogit video.

On Saturday late afternoon @Prettynicevideo set up an impromptu class for anyone that wanted to learn the vlogging App Vlogit. Using my tablet for the biggest screen that could run an App she walked through everyone on how to use it. They made short videos so they had footage to work with as seen below.

Francesca then went through how to add thumbnails, gifs, make gifs, and so much more. That little App really lets you be so creative and all for free.

What Francesca did by taking her time for two days in a row to slowly walk us through an App that everyone at the Alliance block party could use shows the spirit of what @TheAlliance is all about! Family Helping Family.
