Blocktrades is now an officially recognized exchange platform and as such has been approached by the powers that be to comply with regulations. These regulations will include the AML and KYC procedures to combat fraud, money laundering and other dark arts. For now, @blocktrades simply requires you to create an account before being able to use their services.

SIGNING UP ON BLOCKTRADES

Signing up is pretty easy and straightforward.

1. Go to the Blocktrades homepage

2. Click on Sign Up at the top right of the page.

3. Enter your email and desired password.
   

   

4. Check your email for the confirmation mail.

5. Click the url in the email to verify your account.

DONE. It's that easy! You can now use @blocktrade services.

Please note that you have a daily trading limit of $1750 equivalent.
You can however raise this limit by verifying your identity and "authorizing" your account.

AUTHORIZING YOUR BLOCKTRADES ACCOUNT

The best thing about the blocktrades site is that everything is arranged in user-friendly way.

1. Click on the Account Avatar at the top of the home page after signing in.

2. Click on Profile
   

   

3. On the Profile page, click on Authorization.

4. Click on New Authorization Request.
   

   

5. Fill the Form and attach pictures of your documents.
   

   

6. Click Next.

7. On the next page of the form, use Google Places Widget to automatically fill in the details of your current address.
   

   

8. Fill the other information correctly.

9. Click on Submit.
   

   

Authorization requests will be approved reviewed by the @blocktrades team and you should expect a response within 48 hours. You can also check the progress of your approval on the authorization page. You can use the Help tab to go through Frequently Asked Questions and also contact the Support if you have any questions or complaints.
