The Group Stage analysis: Group F

GERMANY:

Germany arrives as the current world champion and with practically the same base of players who have achieved the world championship and the European championship 2 years ago, Germany is a powerful representation of this sport since its inception, and is always the protagonist of the tournaments, has been the team that has played more finals and has among its ranks high-level players who understand the game system of the German team from the minor divisions. Germany is emerging as a serious candidate to take this World Cup, and it will be interesting to see if it becomes the first team to win the World Cup two years in a row.

MÉXICO:

"El tri" as the Mexican national team is known, is one of the national teams that has the most presence in world cups, as well as the country who has organized more times this tournament, counting the new assignment for the 2026 World Cup in conjunction with the United States and Canada, Mexico usually advances from the group stage, but it’s a national problem that afflicts all Mexicans because they haven’t been able to advance from eighth finals round and have been eliminated playing good football. They arrive at this World Cup having qualified in 1st place of their confederation, and although it has generated certain doubts about their game style, the Colombian coach is more than supported by his players in the face of what will be his first world cup as a coach.

SOUTH KOREA

South Korea had its best participation in a World Cup in the year of 2002 when it co-hosted the World Cup in conjunction with the Japan team and managed to finish in a worthy third place that put them in the eye of the whole world, however after that magnificent performance the South Koreans have not managed to maintain a level that show them as candidates to win a World Cup. South Korea has for this World Cup, the plus of having among its ranks one of the figures of the surprising Tottenham; Son Heung-min player of great overflow by the bands that also knows how to finish in a great way the dangerous plays and has become a quite effective player in front of the goal. No doubt Korea may be the big surprise of group F.

Technical Director: Shin Tae-Yong

Captain: Ki Sung-yueng

Figures: Son Heung-min

World Cup participations: 10

World Cup champions: None

Estimated stage: Groups

SWEDEN

The greatest merit of the Swedes was to have successfully achieved the generational change that implied the departure of the best player in their history of the national team, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was out of the whole process and forced the other players to take that step of maturity and achieve to qualify for the World Cup with a set solid game that served to leave out the decadent Italian team. Sweden will be the biggest obstacle for México who will not find it easy to access the second round of the tournament, because they’ll have to beat the Swedish team in the last game of the group stage.

Technical Director: Janne Andersson (

Captain: Andreas Granqvist

Figures: Emil Forsberg

World Cup participations: 12

:)))

Yes, after the 2:1 last minute goal against Sweden it is really possible!!!!!

Germant pretty much can coast through this group stage and make it out. Cant wait to see little pea and mexico take the field. Would be awesome to see them make it to the round of 8.
