Around this time in 2017, I joined Steemit for the first time and this was my intro to crypto blogging. I found Steemit when I was using a decentralized Facebook called Ong.Social (which rebranded to Somee.social) and Youtube made changes to their monetization rules. A guy made a video about alternative sites to earn money. The guy mentioned Steemit. I searched it up and joined. Was accepted after a day. I had a lot to learn ( I still do)
I saw it was like a crypto Reddit (minus the weird hate for self-promo content)

I shared my Youtube content, blogging content from my wordpress site, photography, 3D renders, and so on. I am an all-around blogger.
Here is to a half of a decade on Steemit.com
I would say I was on Hive for 2 years since at least to my understanding, it wasn't created until after the Justin Sun take over which was in 2019 if I remember right and it used my existing Steemit account when the profile was created. I didn't recall making an account I just went to Hive.io, set up the keychain and there it was.
