Trying To Build My Steem By Selling Things For Steem. Not A New Idea, But Trying To See If It Will Work! Got to Start Somewhere!

in blog •  5 years ago

Like many of you, we are trying to build up our Steemit accounts and power up as much as possible. I am also trying to do that and I have a lot of football and baseball cards. I have been holding on to them for years and I am just tired of them always being in my way. So I have decided to put out some feelers for other collectors or people that want them for Christmas gifts.

I know some may be worth some money and all I want to do is get some more Steem to power up my account. It seems people in my area are not really into collecting things like this and the stores want to rob you with low prices to make money themselves.

Not sure how to do this as of yet and like I said just putting some feelers out there to see if there is anyone in the U.S. that is interested in trading some of these cards for Steem. I will include postage in the price of the cards and that will depend on how many you want. I will also have to get some more pictures of the cards so they can be seen better but it will take some time, or if you are looking for a certain card I will see if I have it and take a picture of it and post it for you to see. Maybe in discord or something. Still, have some figuring out to do as I have a three-ring binder full and a couple of cigar boxes full. They are football and baseball cards. Discord name is the same as my channel name so if you want to send me a message you could do so. I hope everyone has a good night/day, whatever it is in your part of the world.

Pictures were taken by me!

I sold some baseball stuff on eBay including a Mickey mantle signed ball for around $300. The guy at the card store wouldn't even make an offer on the ball, and he only wanted my best cards fo pennies on the dollar.

best cards for pennies on the dollar.

That reminds me of the GameStop but instead of cards it's video games..

Yeah, the store I went to wanted to do the same thing. I might have to take pictures of every card and put them on Ebay. I would like to sell for Steem as it makes it easier for me to build my Steemit account that way. I guess we will see though.
