Diary of pizza delivery dude ep02

Sometimes when your out driving you see some sights, some good and some bad, last night it was a horror scene and this gave me goosebumps.

I couldn't understand why the traffic was so busy, it was strange to sit in the car for so long waiting on a main road to get to a house that would have taken 3 minutes to get too.

I turned the music up, lit a smoke and sat waiting, as the traffic moved forward little did I know that the cars that were coming towards me was the traffic from my side of the road, the more I moved forward the more I could see the blue flashing lights.

On the corner of the road were I sat I could see a smashed up car, a policeman came to my window and told me that I had to turn around as they were sorting out what seemed to be a crashed car. the front end was badly damaged and I could see that and ambulance was at the scene.

I turned my satnav on so I could take a different route span the car around and went around the closed road, when I got to the customers house I apologized for his wait and explained that there had been a crash on the road I had to go up to get to his.

The guy said to me that he thought I was going to be late as his mum had phoned and said that some one had been hit by a car on that road outside her house, and this gave me the shivers.

I have checked on line to see if there was any news on this but I can't find anything, if the car was in that bad of state then there must be either a really poorly person or something even worse.

I later had to go down the same road, the car that had crashed was still there but it had been moved and the road was back to moving forward, the front end was all smashed in.

I made my way to another customers house and this was on a main road, I was behind this little corsa and the lady who was driving indicatored to go on to a grass verge, I am guessing she lives there in the houses and this is the only place to park her car.

She must have panicked while I was behind her and rushed to do her maneuver as she hit the curb at some force making her car bounce up the curb her back wheels took the curb with a bang, I was waiting for her and I didn't mind, I am curtiace to people on the road.

She then did something that I didn't think she would do, she drove into a lamp post taking it down with a massive crashing noise that I thought you only heard in the movies.
I got out and asked her if she was alright, a she sunk her head into her hands crying, I said to her again are you alright to find out that she had only been driving for 6 months and the car belonged to her boyfriend.

The bumper and bonnet was bent in to a V shape from where she had hit the post, she didn't hit it at speed she was just trying to get out of the way to let other people past on a busy main road. What else can I do, I said to her the best thing for her to do is to phone up her boyfriend and get him to come and see the damage for himself.

I got on my way again. and dropped off the food that someone was waiting for.

This will be a night that I don't forget in a while.
