The Dictionary classes a pet peeve as something that a particular person finds especially annoying. haha are they having a joke.
These are 3 things that people say to me that I find really freaking annoying.
Starting with my favourite one.
"Oh, is it raining out there?"
You turn up to someone's door and it is pissing it down with rain, you look like you have been in a washing machine, your clothes are that wet you can feel water running down you butt crack and they ask.
"Oh, is it raining out there?"
"No, this is just the drowned cat look that I went for when I left for work this afternoon, I decided to pour a bucket of water over my head and come to your house to deliver food to you because your too lazy to cook"
I am not like this but it is something that I am so tempted in telling them this some times.
"Is it cold out there?"
The weather man has put a red warning out on the news and snow is forecast and you get some dick who says to you, "is it cold out there?"
"Cold? No love, it's beautiful out here, the sun is shining and the birds are singing as it's summer, that's why I have come to your house dressed like someone walking to claim the north pole.
Common sense people, it is winter you know.
"Can I have my penny change please?"
You have driven 5 miles to an unknown address that has never ordered from your shop before, you turn up at the door, the customer seems really nice until you ask for the money.
The order comes to £19.99 and they ask you for their penny change, OMG, it's a penny not a pound you tight arse bastard what's wrong with you.
I don't carry pennies around with me as no one used to ask for a penny back, but it is starting to become more common for people to ask for their penny change. It's a penny get a grip.
These are real things that people say to me on a regular basis, no joke these people live next door to people like me and you and you just don't know they live near you.
be careful people as the world is a dangerous place. lock your doors, close your windows and hide under your beds.

Oh man, that's a shame. He should've taken the £5k! Doesn't surprise me that someone selling like that would fluff up the takings. But that's a piss take. All the best with finding something suitable!

We are so close, we nearly bought a takeaway last week but we pulled out at the last minute as it wasn't what it seemed.
When we got to the solicitors to sign the shop over we asked him to bring a detailed brakedown of the shop takings, everything he had told us was a lie when we looked at the paper work.
his bills and takings were all over the place, he claimed that the shop was taking £1200 a week, but on paper it was closer to £500, this doesn't even cover the rent and bills per month, which means we would have to start from scratch and we could go bust.
He wanted £12000 for the shop, which if he was taking £1200 a week is a fair price, we then made him an offer of £5000 and he wouldn't take it.
We pulled out and have been looking for another shop since. there is loads but some are not worth a penny as they haven't got the takings that are needed to keep a float.
