Something Spooky, A tail from earlier today.

I was instructed to look after a friends house while she is a way for a little while and been the kind person I am I said yes, I am the only person who has her keys and I had talked to her earlier so I knew where she was.

I checked on her house this morning before leaving to go to my mums house, I had to pop across and check on her as she has flu and she was alone.
I made sure that I turned off all the lights in my friends house like I have done for the last week and locked the door.

I checked on my mum and had something to eat with her I then drove home and arrived in the car park, locked the car and made my way across to my house, as I looked over at my friends house I noticed that the lights were on in every room.

So thinking that my friend had come home early or something I decided to instead of just unlocking and walking in but to knock.
I knocked twice but there was no answer. so I opened the door and walked in, the lamp that was in the kitchen was on, but one problem 2 nights ago the bulb went and I was meant to buy another.

I didn't think much to it and started to shout upstairs to see if she was in. still no answer, I walked the stairs and checked the rooms at the same time as i checked I switched the lights off. (you know doing my bit for the environment)

I then went to leave, but the front door was locked. how could this happen while I still had the keys on me, I just thought she was playing a joke on me, or I had locked it when I walked in, but I don't remember doing so.

I opened the door and locked it behind me and headed home.

When my wife walked into the house about an hour later she stated to me that i had left the lights on in the house, which I said to her that I had been around an hour earlier and turned them off so not to worry.
She looked at me gone out, NO she said the lights are on now....

I looked at her and said no i've turned them off, and thought what if my friend was getting robbed, I went around and checked the door. it was locked.
I looked through the window and the lights that i had turned off had been turned back on again. While writing this I have goose bumps on my arms.

For the second time i went back into the house and turned the lights off. i then phoned my friend and asked if anyone else had a key. she said no and asked why and I explained what had been going off. she thought I was been daft but still she needed to know.

I locked her door and went back home.

I had a call from a friend who asked me to go and see him for an hour tonight so I popped out, as I left there was no lights on and I got home about an hour ago and there back on again.

it is proper freaking me out. I have not been back in as I really don't want to know what happening but tomorrow I will check again.
