Balık Gölü

Ağrı ili sınırları içerisinde bulunan Balık Gölü, Taşlıçay ilçesi ile Doğubayazıt ilçesi arasında bulunmaktadır.

Balık Gölü’nü özel yapan şeyleri sıralamamız gerekirse :

  • Denizden yüksekliği 2241 metre’dir. Bu özelliği ile Türkiye’nin en yüksekte olan göllerinden biridir.
  • Yapısal olarak, lav seti gölüdür ve en derin yeri 37 metre kadardır.

Gölün suyu hem içme suyu olarak hem de kullanma suyu olarak civar yerleşim birileri tarafından kullanılmaktadır.

Gölü besleyen kaynaklar ise:

  • Dağlardan gelen küçük dereler,
  • Yer altı suları
  • Pınarlar

Gölün suyu kullanılabilir olduğundan yakın çevresinde de tarım alanları ve otlaklar bulunmaktadır.

Balık Gölü’nü bölgede ünlü yapan en önemli şey, yetiştirdiği benekli alabalıklardır.

Gölün çevresinde çok farklı hayvanlara da rastlayabilirsiniz: kartal, kurt, tilki, bıldırcın, keklik, tavşan, şahin…

    Göle gitmek için şehir içi ulaşım araçlarını kullanabilirsiniz. Taşlıçay ilçesinde bulunmaktadır.
