@queenlouise07 ~ We all feel drained, disappointed and depressed at times. Don't despair. The best thing to do is to interrupt those feelings... literally do something that shocks those feelings out of where they've settled in.
This can be accomplished in many ways: put some loud music on and dance like a dervish, do jumping jacks or other quick physical movement, run around outside, play with an animal or kid, watch funny videos, relax and lose yourself in a book for 30 minutes, take a nap (this really works to reboot you), give yourself permission to do the things you love, talk with a friend in person or on the phone (voice-to-voice or face-to-face).
Choose one or two things that bring you relief, have them in mind for whenever you're feeling overwhelmed, and do them! Emotions are meant to move through us, not weigh us down. Get yours moving by replacing them with (a) activity and (b) something you love.
