Instagram users will be able to share their stories in their own profiles with a new feature. But you have to be labeled in that story to be able to do that.
Instagram , a picture and video sharing platform , has announced a new feature for its users. If you now talk about you in the story of a friend, you can share the same story again on your own profile. It is also possible to make changes to the story by adding new pictures and videos.
The feature called '@mention Sharing' applies only to users tagged in that story. Before tagging, the app will warn "Users mentioned can publish this story in 24 hours". Then the user who is mentioned in the story will be sent a message via 'Add this story' link.
When you share the story again, you can make any changes you want, but other users will see the name of the first person sharing it.
