Have you noticed such as I that lately most people do not comment in other’s blogs/posts anymore?
What could it be? Busy lifestyles, disabilities or is it that many now have way too many social blogging crypto options?
Dunno for sure, but I have seen a huge interaction decrease. This in turn have made all sites quite boring. What is the point in adding the social factor in a blogging site if few are even bothering? I must admit I see probably more than I should, correction, I am just not blind. Blind in seeing greed. It seems people are more drawn into the upvotes which in turn means more cryptocurrency earnings. So why not just make a site more like Twitter or Facebook and no blogging? Those sites are about quick posting and liking. There is an upside, the fun factor. Entertainment sells. Instead of all these new crypto sites focusing on blogs (not everyone wishes to become a writer nor do they care to share that many words) why not on just sharing of pictures or drawings or whatever? I have lost count how many people enjoy receiving and not giving, not even a comment or compliment.
Which brings me to publicly say, THANK YOU to each and everyone that votes and checks-out my work. Looking at @blacklux among a few other’s, but do not wish to make this post seem like a spam post by naming many accounts. Just simply accept my thanks and I am chronically sick and often am breathless so writing is a huge pain in the— head, what were you thinking? 😜

Social media oversaturation, also the massive loss of value in all cryptocurrency makes it at least less worthwhile in doing so.
I still like to and plan to but it's a matter of time and building up the habit again of commenting and wanting to engage with the steemit platform more.

I agree @aagabriel that those are factors that have unmotivated many. However, MySpace, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram never paid a cent to anyone yet they were very engaging and popular. Instagram is extremely saturated with interaction.

Sorry I don't get around here much Nikki, I am probably the
Worst one. But you and I know each other, we know more
(probably) about each other's conditions and circumstances
Than many other members of this platform.
My thing is, if/when I come to my feed, if I don't see your post
(as I just did here) I am not motivated to go looking; my
Attention span won't allow that.
And when/if I come to my feed, and I see a friend or follower's
Post that looks interesting, but already has more than $5 in
Earnings, I don't feel like my puny 1¢ worth of upvote will
Do much good, so I keep scrolling.
I must admit, much of what I find in my feed is plainly
Uninteresting to me.
Sorry everyone, but I don't care about your 'actifit workout'
Etc...
I know I'm not making any friends with these statements,
But it is what it is.
I'm going to have surgery in about a month, who knows?
I may not be coming back here. This post has been

I agree some posts are merely posted to gain something and topics are sometimes merely uninteresting. As for the “puny” upvote trust me I understand! I sometimes feel hesitant, but then think any upvote is better than none and think hey Facebook and Twitter likes have absolutely no monetary value, but it is a way to show appreciation or that one has seen it of some value.
I like you also have health issues so I find myself often having difficulty to even write a coherent comment and some account holders in this forum are overly demanding about the comments they receive. That makes for an unfriendly site and makes one hesitant to even leave a message.
So you can see there are many factors that need to be modified as well for a more inviting atmosphere.
Mostly this post is really about those that are everywhere (all crypto sites) and nowhere, because they are busy everywhere. Take a look at Bearshares, Whaleshares, Weku, Steemit and the likes posting, posting and rarely or never bother to turn around to those commenting on their posts or upvoting their posts. It is not about the few that do try or are sick and are trying their best.
Oh and I do hope to see you back here or on Weku, how else will we know about you?

I would rather focus intently on one site, that I happen to love, and do well here, rather than spread myself thin on a bunch of sites. And like you say, even then it is hard to keep up!
