Some people have asked why I don't blog or post anything about myself. Truth is I'm more than a wee bit shy, you see I was born without a left hand.
When I was in primary school I didn't have a care in the world I didn't even wonder why I only had one hand and I got on whit most kids up until year 6 and 7.
I started to notice people looking, pointing and sometimes laughing at me most of the time it was adults. At first I just looked at the floor and went on my way and tried to put it out my head. But as time went on things got worse. I even stopped using my prosthetic hand as it draws more attention to me. So By the time I got to high school I had started hiding my arm in my pocket to protect it from being seen as I got fed up with people pointing,staring,laughing and calling me names like captain hook or one hand Wullie. I just became a very shy quiet guy and stayed in most of the time. School was probably the worst time of my life. Sorry it was a sad story I my write more about myself growing up if I find the confidence.
