I have looked into this as well a few times.. The sad reason for this is they would loose so much money if there was no cancer. It would make a huge impact on the pharmaceutical world.

It kinda reminds me of when people figure out the method of being able run cars off water, then when they make there story public they straight up disappear off the face of the earth... Why are people being stopped for trying to save the world or help save the people dying of horrible cancer?
