Hello Steemit Fretz!

Welcome to my Travel Trivia & Facts Series. Come and travel with me around the world to find fun, informative, and out of this world information about traveling and exploring different places around the world.

The Giraffe Manor is a hotel that allows you to eat breakfast with the giraffes.

Giraffe Manor

This is a unique hotel in Kenya that offers a different kind of experience to it’s guest. Guests are able to have breakfast dates with the giraffes. The manor is within a twelve-acre property that allows the giraffe to roam around and drop by the manor when the feel like it.

Imagine yourself having a fresh and scrumptious breakfast and then these sweet giants come in by the window and eat with you.

Why breakfast?

You might be wondering why the giraffes visit in the morning and not any other day. It is because this is the usual time that they eat and feed. It’s unpredictable after that on when they'll come lurking aroudn the manor again.

Giraffe Pellets

These giraffes come each morning and takes a peek at the windows to receive snacks from the guests. Then eventually they go back to the woodlands and stay there the rest of the day.

Note: Interaction with the giraffe is unpredictable since these animals are in the wild, the hotel can’t give a specific time on when the giraffes would come.

Hotel’s Rooms

Even without the giraffes, the hotel itself is exquisite and stunning by itself. The hotel has around 12 rooms that makes you remember of an old English countryside. Each room is completely different from each other has Art Deco Designs in them. Here are a few of the rooms in the Manor:

Finich Hatton – A superior suite room that has a double bed on the ground floor and 2 twin beds on the second floor. The room also has an in-room fireplace plus an en-suite bathroom.

Marlon’s Room – This is a standard room that doesn’t have tons of space in it, it is one of the smallest room in the manor. It has a tiny en-suite shower.

Daisy’s Room – A superior room with two single beds (large) that has an en-suite shower and bathroom. The main highlight of this room is the roof terrace that gives you a good view of the back gardens.

Don’t worry you will still be able to connect with the outside world, since they have WiFi available at the manor. And if you want to have a massage, they have a massage therapist on site. ♥

This is incredible! I can't believe they just swing by and get their breakfast with you. The pictures from the outside showing the giraffes approaching the manor are amazing and the featured image in the thumbnail here is very cool, I love the symmetry.

Wasn't there a pop artist that made a music video at this place? Something comes to mind about a french female singer. I could be wrong!

Oh and just to say finally... that first bedroom... WOW. The spiral staircase up to the mezzanine is spectacular. You aren't wrong when you say English countryside, it has all the elements of a rural yet prestigious country home.

Amazing post. Your formatting is spot on and the dividers work very well against the week background. It pops!

It is definitely. The first time I saw it I was pretty excited to write about this.

Oh wow! This place is so amazing! Thank you for sharing this. It's one of kind lifetime experience. Might just be one for the bucket list!

You should definitely tick it off the bucket list. :) I've tried feeding them though (here in my country) so I'm pretty good with it. lol I didn't have to share a meal though. ^^

omg i want to go here with you girls... but yes when steemmillz for sure! xxx

Yay!! It would be a great time for sure!! xx

I have seen this before on Insta but didn't know what the hotel was called. It looks really inviting and it would be amazing to feed the giraffes up close like that. I would probably be too excited waiting for the giraffe to come that I wouldn't actually eat breakfast myself.

I tried feeding the giraffes but it wasn't from a hotel. This setting is a little fancy but I'd love to give it a try just even once. ^^ Thanks for dropping by.

It would definitely be an experience to remember. I’ve fed a cow before and their tongue was really rough. Perhaps the giraffes tongue is rough like that aswell?
