Political science must be a total farce, only a rubber chicken could think otherwise. Our political systems are highly undemocratic. The voter has no say in anything except the option to choose an unaccountable dictator for the next four years. This is the extent to which our representatives have hijacked our democracies with their false narrative about their expertise and prestige to make decisions on our behalf.
The electorate needs a global direct democracy platform as a layer of accountability for their representatives. For a representative to truly represent they must poll the will of the electorate and reflect that in their vote while in government.
Once this is operational societies can say that they have real democracy and we will see that political science as the nonsense that it really is.
