A MONTH OLD ON STEEMIT ;The journey thus far!

Hello steemians, it's your boy @desmoniac. I just had to pen this down guys and believe me, it's coming right from my heart, no gimmicks. Today marks exactly one month I started steeming, feel free to check my introductory post which wasn't really a bad start for me(all thanks to my steemit mentor @sistem). With the number of upvotes and payout I got on my introductory post, I began to feel steemit was as easy as putting up whatever you liked and getting paid by it and just then, I thought to myself "Oga Desmond won't you quickly post another thing so the money wee be flowing in sharp sharp as E dey hot",hahaha, trust sharp Igbo boy like me nah, I quickly thought of a trending topic and SEX DOLL palava came to mind immediately and I nodded like a boss that got inspiration from above. Immediately as E dey hot, I wrote stuffs about sex doll which was titled "13 HILARIOUS THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX DOLL", then I laughed and said to myself again "this one will catch their attention and if care is not taken, those big big whales @sistem told me of, will get to upvote it too. My brothers and sisters after posting it, I waited for complete 4hours, no show,not even a second upvote (cause I was the first to upvote it), then I said, "okay, let me sleep and wake up, perhaps something will happen". I woke up the next day and it was just the way I left it, I didn't know whether to cry or laugh but then I quickly looked for the delete button.

Thank God I was able to delete the post to hide my face from the shame at that time unlike now, you can't delete any post again. Gradually things began to get quite tough just after my introductory post coupled with the environmental constraints I was and still facing. I was told to install discord so I can set up ginabot that will notify me when a whale makes a post, so I can comment and get a good upvote, but I still haven't been able to do it (due to some Internet and app palava, but hope to do soonest). I was also told by my mentor to engage myself in any contest I find as a way to grow on steemit which I started shortly after the sex doll embarrassment and came second in a contest organized by @phunke.

I also got introduced by my mentor into @steemnaira community, I started making new friends like @ponmile who inspired me through her pure taleneted writing skill, @eunireal1 who came in the same day I did but has grown way bigger(I really don't know the magic she uses, lol), @dante(always dantelized, lol) , @casweeney, @phunke,@michaelcj, @donnest, @iamchijamz, @aliyu-s,@steemcenturion and the list goes on and on. One thing I quickly discovered on steemit from the very first day, was the high intellectual frequency on which it operates, a lot of great minds here if I must say and I really count myself privileged to be here.

I have a dream and I have a target.
I hope to meet and be friends with more greats minds.
I hope to achieve the dream of becoming a whale someday which every steemian has.
I hope to win more contests.
I hope to overcome both the environmental and Internet hiccups on my path to success on steemit.
I hope to be recognized as one of the great steemians someday.
AND I pledge to support my friends on steemit at large in every possible way I can.
