Aww I hope it was not an expensive model. Always a shame when the fun parts break. I can only hope it happened due to result of something legendary so it has an amazing backstory. Every broken sword should have one.

Sounds like something epic in writing to me. Gundam was defeated in the battle defending his village from a giant Kiddo. Got be a sonnet in there somewhere of his battle. I hope you can find some way to repair or replace that part. If not still a very interesting piece to have.
