Getting into University!

A couple of days ago I wrote a post about how I would be picking up my A level results and finding out if I have got in to University or not. Well yesterday I found that out.

I had to wake up much earlier than what I'm used to yesterday to find out if I had got my place in a University, waking up at 8 am to check my application. I got accepted by both my firm and insurance choices but my firm was offering a different course that what I had applied for instead, leading me to go for my insurance instead. In all honesty, I had regretted not putting my insurance choice as my firm so in the end it all worked out I was doing the course that I wanted, computer science.

When I went to pick up my results, they were a bit lower than my offer had actually asked for. In some ways it's surprising that I was accepted but the grade boundaries look to have been very high this year so the Universities have probably been lenient.
