Steem, a network for opportunities!

I'm feeling incredibly amazed at how we are progressing as a blockchain and as a community. Knowing how much this steem is progressing not only in price but also to its use case.

We are no longer just a social network site or a blogging platform, we have become a network of projects, Dapps, and now we already have a decentralized marketplace & exchange for tokens - Steem Engine.

I've visited the site yesterday and I'm amazed at how many tokens are already listed in its market. Although majority of the tokens are still on its early stage and not enough volume yet, I think that it's proving to be a good start for Steemians who wanted to elevate their projects to the next level.

We are conquering a new ocean of opportunities!

The development of Steem Engine has literally got many of us to be excited. Some of the Steemians already initiated their tokens and although it is only being utilized as for a tip bot, it's still giving the me confidence that the Steem Engine project has a real potential for usage.

When it comes to the tokens, how can one say that their is viability to it.

Firstly, is there sense to it?

I noticed that some of the tokens are serving as a way to initiate yet another pay-for-upvote service since the token is being purchased for an exchange of an upvote.

The steem token is already capable of doing it. Why do we even need to pay 1% charge for depositing / withdrawing steem to the SE market to purchase a token which is then use to purchase an upvote.

It sounds like a plan for failure.

Another consideration to think about for the token is it's really helping to the development of the blockchain. By creating the token, what are we really trying to accomplish?

Are we even solving an issue or are we just trying to mock the token?

Prior to the launch of Steem Engine, there are already projects and Dapps that have been creating a major turn around for the Steem blockchain by encouraging the accomplishment of certain task is proven to be beneficial to many.

The projects like Steemhunt, Tasteem, NTopaz, & Actifit just to name a few, have showed a good way to motivate contributors, encourage creativity, and empower the creators as they make this chain a better place.

The emergence of Steem Engine is a proof that their is more for steem other than a social network. It's a network of opportunities!
