D-Day / Date Day!

When was the last time I had a perfect sleep? Has it been months ago? I tried recalling when I woke up but my memory failed me big time. Oh well, I had been spending a lot of time online watching documentaries again and again.

Who would have thought that after declining a job opportunity in a non-governmental organization and left my career in the government, I would be spending a lot of my time watching some stuff like what I mentioned.

I woke up and realized it was almost four in the afternoon. I was confused a bit whether or not it was four in the morning or four in the afternoon. I rolled over by bed. I still wanted to sleep few more minutes but I remember I need to feed my dogs. Although they have eaten their breakfast, but I still need to feed them.

I hugged my dear Sunny as she rolled over my lap. Since when did she get this big? I remember the first time I held her in my eyes, she was so tiny and she looks like she have not eaten anything for a week. She started licking and biting me softly. I was taken aback for awhile somehow because it felt so ticklish. She then gave me a cute reaction when i ticked her on belly. It feels so good to have a fur baby and be a fur mom.

After feeding my little ones, I spent few minutes inside the bathroom and was good to go. Or so I thought.

I thought it would be a nice idea to look girly just for today so I took a flowery dress inside my closet and paired it with a white jacket. But then I thought, it might rain. Or it might be even hot. I also thought, I would be commuting so I might as well wear something that would be comfortable for me. While looking myself at the mirror, I realized, how round my face got.

I chose an oversized shirt, a cap, and a shorts. I think I might pass as a senior high school student with my get-up. And I really did! The driver thought I am still a student so he took P10.00 from the P100.00 bill that I gave him.

Here is a selfie of mine before the jeepney was filled with passengers. I really wanted to commute, as usual. I wanted to feel the warm summer breeze while enjoying the view of the hills. I wanted to see different faces because for days, I had been staying alone at home. I wanted to eavesdrop on some conversation. I wanted to feel good.

I decided to pay a visit at my favorite tea shop and ordered Lychee Yakult tea. I think it would suit my mood. It was also late and I have not eaten anything so I tried calling my friend Ralph Luis, but he was not answering at all.

I turned on my mobile data and luckily he responded via messenger. He said he is at his favorite internet cafe. Minutes after I got my order, I went to his place. He was still engrossed playing this online game that he and Zene like.

I told them that we should have dinner together and it is my treat. It is usually just Eli and I but I find it rude if we would just leave Zene alone. I wanted to order chicken. They also ordered the same. I also ordered two good for two but it was actually good for four people.

The attendant said then that we needed to wait for thirty minutes and my pals were good with it. I told them to start their timer and they just laughed at me. Why can't I just wait lang daw . Of course, I have not eaten for the entire day and it is past six in the evening already.

For thirty minutes, we talked about random stuff but mostly about korean pop. I just like the feeling of being with them after such a long time. Actually, Ralph Luis and I had been friends since grade school, we then went to the same science high school, and then took the same course in college. While Zene is a good friend of Eli. We just then met when I followed Eli to their favorite computer shop. He is actually very nice so we got close asap.
