A Knock at the Door

in blog •  7 years ago

As I sit on the sofa,
Thinking of my home,
The home I never speak of,
The one I know is real.

A light shines through the window,
That's brighter than my future,
I struggle with the concept,
That I will be an adult.

A world that I must live in,
Governed by people who won't listen,
A family of speakers,
But not a single risk taker.

So as I wait on the sofa,
In my quest misery,
Thinking about the future,
All that future pain.

I wonder to myself,
When should I take the leap,
When I should go round her house,
And Knock at the Door.
