I think Paul Pogba is really suffering in the hands of a manager who wants to harness his power, not his skill.
In the last match against Sevilla, i could remember the most expensive player was on bench for 17 minutes after which he replaced the injured Ander Herrera, and he has been subbed twice and missing the starting line-up three times in the last five games played. The question is what is the bad blood between Pogba and Mourinho? i am really concerned about this.
The 24 year old Pogba made a very brilliant second Champions League start, with a veteran of Champions League and European Championship finals, and also with four Serie A title and £89 million price tag to his name, i mean this guy is made, he's a soccer legend, not a bouncer.
We can clearly understand the attitude Mourinho currently holds against the most talented player in his squad, and probably in the World. He wants to compel him into doing his own opinion, can i passenger tells a pilot how to fly his plane?
Pogba has lots of creative potential to be unlocked, Mourinho demands discipline, destruction and caution in possession. And he wants Pogba to do it for him. Mourinho might facially see Pogba as a player who can give him does things, but you know appearance can be deceptive, i mean just because Pogba is a big, powerful man, it doesn't mean he's best deployed as a bouncer. I feel Pogba with a man of his talent, skills, agility, experience in football is been insulted as per asking him to learn from an apprentice with no more than football experience that Pogba has had, is that right? I mean Pogba might be feeling more aggrieved by this demotion in his career.
I think it is not right of Mourinho fitting an attitude around the ability of his players. Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have all been victims of Mourinho's management style. If a player doesn't do and act exactly how he
wants, that player will be banished, and benched no matter how much the player cost.
Mourinho is lucky to have Pogba in his hands, Pogba isn't the type to be controlled into a style of football,he has his own style which fits him perfectly and made him the man he is today.I believe in coaching, but not in a way of changing a person's style of doing what he's already best at doing.
Do you think Pogba has a good future with Mourinho in Manchester United?
