At the same time, you also feel a bittersweet taste in your mouth as your mind remains on the things you lost, the people you failed, the life you didnt live.
But all of that doesnt matter in that moment.
Because right now, you have another opportunity. It is a new start. Make promises to yourself once again and tell yourself that this year, it would be better, it would be different. Promises yourself that you wont repeat the same mistakes from the past. You are the creator of your life. You have 365 blank pages to fill.
A fresh start is something I think everybody deserves.

This is a powerful statement to make. Family is an important thing that often time in our busy life, we tend not to reflect much.
In Hawaii, family is known as "'Ohana". However the concept is much deeper than its literal translation. It basically means those who are family, and those you choose to call your family. In its entirety it can be described as a moral value, ‘Ohana is actually a human circle of complete Aloha. And Aloha is not just saying 'Hi". Aloha is also a value, one of unconditional love and respect to another living being, Aloha is the outpouring and receiving of the spirit.
