নিজের চোখ ও কানকে বিশ্বাস করতে পারছিলাম না। কিন্তু না সত্যিই তিনি এ দুনিয়ার মায়া কান্না কাটিয়ে চিরতরে পারি জমিয়েছেন ওপারে। জানি না এমন কেউ এ বাংলার বুকে আসবে কি না কখনো।

তিনি এমন এক শিল্পি চিলেন যার গান শুনে নাই এমন লোক খুঁজে পাওয়া মুশকিল, যিনি তিন জেনারেশনকে গান শুনিয়েছেন, সেই সত্তর আশি থেকে আটারো সাল পর্যন্ত সব জেনারেশনই শুনেছেন তার গান।
আল্লাহ ইনাকে জান্নাত বাসী করুক, যাস্ট এতটুকুই বলতে চাই সবাই শরীরের যত্ন নিন, তার মৃত্যুর একমাত্র কারণ ছিলো হৃদরোগ। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিলো : ৬০ বছর (১৯৬২-২০১৮)
