Every post, every page from almost every website has photos. Why? Because it looks good and everybody loves a nice, colorful photo to describe the article. Also, let’s not forget that Google also likes pages that has photos (study on backlinko.com) and “67% of consumers note that the quality of the image depicting the product is of great importance in following through with a purchase”.
So, it’s clear now – you need a nice photo for every blog post. But where you can find images that are nice and that you can use without paying or being afraid of a copyright strike?
The answer comes in the form of Free Stock Photos Websites. Below I have listed some of the websites that I use on a daily basis.
*Before starting the list, I want to show you a site that makes the whole process of creating a featured image with text and filters quick and easy. Pablo by Buffer allows you to search from more the 600K free stock pictures, add text with different fonts, sizes, and colors, the ability to add your own logo, and even add certain filters. In short, you can get an awesome blog post image in seconds.
*Update: I just found out a nice search engine for free to use photos that it can search through many of the sites listed bellow -> Librestock.com
