When purchasing extra memory cards, make sure it is a reputable brand. My favorites are SanDisk and Kingston brand memory cards. I haven't had a card fail on me (yet) but I like to rotate my memory cards around to spread the workload and wear and tear.

    Thanks for your comment. I agree, good quality cards are essential. The card that failed was a SanDisk card though, so I was extra surprised!
