Interesting facts and notes. It didn't even occur to my mind that one could go to this nice forest in Istanbul. Thanks for the tip!

    Its one of the few places in Istanbul european side that you can go with public transportation for a nice trekking .There are cool routes for horse riding as well. We saw two different group with horses. One with motorbikes and some runners. We went deep inside the forest but if you would like to stay near the entrence, there are toilets, and secuity huts.
