My trip to Cape Town, South Africa!

in blog •  7 years ago

I toured the beautiful city of Cape Town ! For those of you that don't know, Cape Town (known as the Mother City) is a popular city at the bottom of South Africa. It is known for Table Mountain and it's beautiful habitat. In 2012 Table Mountain was named one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature and in 2014 Cape Town was the 8th friendliest city in the World. So we can say that if you happen to be in South Africa, you should definitely give Cape Town a visit.

During my 10 days of touring, I explored a lot of beaches and visited alot of tourist attraction sites.

Cape Point - the tip of Africa.
We walked up a long path and many stairs to get us to a white and blue lighthouse. The wind was wild ! Our hair was blown all over the place, but it was worth it. The view was breathtaking and you could just look out into the ocean for kilometers.

Betty's Bay - The Penguins.
Betty's Bay is a beach that is full of penguins! We walked along a wooden deck and saw tons of penguins. Old penguins, young penguins, they were all so adorable.

Cape Waterfront
I loved the Waterfront. The African atmosphere was incredible. The Waterfront is an inside and outside mall. There are regular shops inside, but outside consists of an entertainment stage, restaurants, African performers, heritage statues, a Ferris Wheel, a harbour and to top everything off...Table Mountain was in the the background.

The drive along the coast line may have been one of the most beautiful drives that I have ever done. Here are some pictures.
