Why you need to Visit the ANILAG Festival here in Laguna, Philippines

What is ANILAG means? ANILAG means "Ani ng Laguna or Harvest of Laguna".
Laguna is known for its fine cuisines, products, and delicacies like espasol, buko pie, and cassava cake. Anilag Festival is the major and most colorful festival in Laguna. Through the festival, Laguna citizens celebrate the fruitful success of their land and give thanks to the mighty Provider for their bounty.

The ANILAG festival was celebrated yearly every second week of march and its a One week to celebrate it and showcase our Products of Laguna. Also Its celebrate it in Capitol of Sta cruz, Laguna.

In this year we celebrate it during March 10-17. After a other day. Finally I came here and to see the wonderful products of Laguna. Theres a lot of people in the Venue. I cant captured the main Booth of every Municipality of Laguna but I tried my best to take it. Iam so happy Ive been there and to witnessed the proud of Laguna.

So this is the all booth of the Event. The Appearance of the booth is depends of the Main product of Municipality.
I cant take a good picture because of many people that taking also a pictures and sightseeing. But here :

First Booth is my Hometown Pakil, Laguna. This Booth was Representing "Our lady of Sorrow of Turumba" and our Organic Products like soaps.

Pila, Laguna represent they good Harvest in Rice fields and Fruits.

Liliw, Laguna - The big Slippers represent the good quality of they Slippers Product, In this Place you buy a Cheap price but have a good Quality Slippers.
And the Old and Beautiful church.
The booth was build using a coconut husk and woods.

Majayjay, Laguna repressent they good Harvest of Fruit and Vegetables.

Mabitac, Laguna - They represent also the Harvest of the Fruit but the main Product of this municipality was the Hanging Chair. They Built it using a Rope and Metal for the Post.

Kalayaan, Laguna - The big Butterfly represent their good and beautiful flowers in their municipality.

Sta Cruz, Laguna - Represent their Good and the fast progress of being an Municipality.

Sta Maria, Laguna - As you can see the big Cereal Grain its reperesent their Good Harvest all the time in Rice Field because in this municipality have a lot of Rice Fields than a Housing.

Nagcarlan, Laguna - Represent their a very memorable of their old passion in building a House and also they have a Clean Rivers and Glushing Falls that nice to Swim.

Lumban, Laguna - Lumban known of their Products of "Barong". Almost of the people in Lumban was know how to embroidery. All of the Barong that used of Artist here in Philippines was from Lumban, Laguna.

Calamba, Laguna - Calamba is a first City in Laguna and Calamba its very big to have 54 barangay in this Municipality. Also in Pansol Calamba was Popular being have a lot of Resorts.

Cavinti, Laguna - Cavinti a very Large Municipality of their lot of Mountains. And got a Guinness World of Record of Worlds Largest Sambalilo. Sambalilo is a kind of Hat.

Victoria, Laguna - In this Municipality was known as have a Very Delicuios "Itlog na maalat" (Salted Egg) this Egg is from Ducks not Chickens and If you know in this Municipality have a big Statue of Ducks.

Los Banos, Laguna - They Very Big cake was Represent the Big bakery Mernels. Their Cake and Buko Pie was very Popular in this Municipality of this Delicuios Taste.

Pangil, Laguna - Their Tourist Spot was Ecology Park. This is River Park and have a beautiful Falls.

San Pablo, Laguna - San Pablo is also a City. See their a good Harvest in Coconuts.

Paete, Laguna - Paete was known in Making a Statue by Engraving almost of their Products was a Statue of Sto Nino and most of the Saints.

Rizal, Laguna - In this Municipality is have a Good lands and Mountains that you need to see. Also they have a good resorts.

San Pedro, Laguna - I dont know why Their Booth was like a Chicken of San Pedro Saint. But in the right part of their booth have Well that have a story of Miracle.

Bay, Laguna - This Booth was a Darkest but if you near it and see the materials they used, You see their beautiful Flowers.(Yea its Color Violet and some Black)

Santa Rosa, Laguna - This is Also a City. And in municipality was the Placed of Enchanted Kingdom.

Binan, Laguna - I dont know what the Products or Tourist Spot they represent but I think in this Appearance was have a lot of Factory of Foods.

Famy, Laguna - Also they have a lot of Rice Fields and have always a good harvest.

Alaminos, Laguna - Also they have a lot of harvest of Fruits and Vegetables.

Luisiana, Laguna - Luisiana is a Agricultural town.Also They have a small Festival called "Pandan Festival" because all of their agricultural products was make using a Leaf of Pandan. Their products was Cap, Bags and small Statues.

Also in this Festival have a lot of Rides like Viking, Carousel and Ferris Wheel and many games.

TIPS if you want to go here in this Festival.

• Bring more money because in the venue have a lot of delicuios foods and a Very high Quality products here in Laguna.

• Bring a small water container that handy the venue was very extensive and very exhausting to check the booths.

• If you go here. Go in late afternoon almost 4pm - 10pm because Its too hot in the Morning and Afternoon also almost of the event was start in Late Afternoon.

• Bring a extra Power Bank to take more picture. They have a lot of booth you need to capture.
