How to win your freedom.
Your circumstance, however privileged, however impoverished - can be a lonely one. Your purpose, your task in life may seem defined - by yourself or others. Your craving to breathe the cool and fresh air of freedom, is unmistakable. From within the nameless creation, held in solitary confinement to the demigod/dess in the ivory tower, their resides a never-ending flicker of humanity. An idea that not only keeps you alive, but connects you to the lives of others. Many seek to bridge this gap with acts of charity, others wish to identify similarities; where in contrast a portion shun all - yet the flicker remains.
This flicker of hope, is the next chapter in the evolution of mankind; the instinctive clarity which communicates the wishes of others. A collective consciousness, accessible to all. A yearning so strong, it negates your own personal desires. With a sense of timelessness about it, this idea is only curtailed through distraction and consequence of your position. In order to shed any bonds that may bind you, you only have to complete one Almanac task until liberty is realized. The method of ‘Ever increasing circles’.
Before you commence such a seemingly endless endeavor, you must forgive all transgression! Those of yours and other’s making. This is essential to obtaining your prize (equates to standing for 12 hours). You must understand, during this period, that no-one in the modern age has surpassed the atrocities of the past; history has shown that the most heinous of crimes against humanity rarely lead to incarceration. This entire exercise serves one purpose, one momentous obstacle, which is freeing yourself from the confines of your own mind. The mental bondage which you’ve accepted to any varying degree of damnation.

If you can accept this new state of well-being, and have freed your mind from external and intrinsic distractions, you can begin to pick the locks of which constrain you. Realized one truth that will set you free. The method of your bondage must NOT out-weigh the cost to bind you! Shackles are never made of gold or silver, cells never made of quartz, and oppressors rarely outnumber the oppressed. To this truth, your never-ending march toward freedom will begin and conclude; but you must march together and in the right direction.
Marching can be seen as the abstract steps that you take, and being honest and open, written and /or verbal, will define your Almanac direction. Reciting your intentions (equating to a 12 hour task), will exercise your voice, ordering these steps will define your direction - providing ample notice to all concerned. You may wish to bang and create a ruckus, causing discomfort to all; however, finding song and lyric; fostering creativity in a place where artistry has long since been extinguish, would prove to be more fruitful - this again equates to a 12 hour task. If your cause is just and intentions honorable, you will soon find that you’re not marching alone.
Facing the bullwhip! This should be done with utter silence, a muted response to all and any physical eventuality. No response, no acknowledgement to your aggressor, no distraction from the cause. Suffering in silence, is not an action that should be observed by the free entity; in contrast, meeting violence with violence only propagates more aggression. Liberty would be best achieved with a task of 12 hours observed silence, rest and contemplation - maintaining strict schedule to the task timeline, making up any time lost due to this encounter.
The final act of emancipation is to make other’s tasks your own. Where the solidarity, societal, regimental undertaking of these tasks, will ignite the flicker of humanity, converting each dungeon into a community, every ivory tower into a beacon and every house into a home. For all those held, oppressed, and bound unjustly, your efforts will echo/ripple outwards - you will be heard. Not everyone can possibly be physically freed by these worldly acts of defiance to One’s oppressor; however, mass incarceration, global oppression and institutionalize systems of profiteering via the subjugation of people, has no place in a new decentralized future, and this Almanac pilgrimage (plus variation of), will ensure that these practices are deemed a non-profit venture - by your actions.
