====== Crypto Trading Advice ====

A Facebook friend suggested this to his followers and I'm interested what you guys think about it:

If you experience delays withdrawing your crypto from the exchange to your wallet..hedge it. Remember, your true crypto ROI is when you convert it to fiat. Not when you exit a trade or when you move it to a wallet. Crypto sitting in your wallet (offline or online) will still be affected when price goes down.

So, what to do? How are you going to protect against losses waiting on your crypto withdrawal to clear and finally converting it to fiat, especially during panic selloff?

You hedge.

For example, during a bullish surge, when you are ready to take profits, enter an equal amount of short positions as your withdrawal amount that you're waiting to hit your wallet and that you will convert to fiat. Once conversion clears, exit the short positions.

The only cost is the spread (the hedge trade), but it also protects your true ROI from major loss during an unexpected market turn such as panic selloff when Coinbase and Kranken froze withdrawals for a few days trapping all crypto traders trying to get out.

The spread is your insurance.

====== Coinbase Issues ====

Coinbase is without a doubt one of the largest crypto brokers in the world. The seven-year-old company sits on massive user base boasting thirty-two countries despite having less than two-hundred employees on staff. Their current staff levels have created several issues for customers which is why they intend to increase their staff sixteenfold. Here is a list of the common complaints about coinbase:

1. Multiple or Unwanted Charges
   Coinbase customers have reported being double charged on transaction while others have complained about being charged up to a BTC's value despite never purchasing nor receiving any BTC.

2. Closing or Freezing Accounts
   Several customers, including large named customers like Doug Polk, have reported that their accounts received unexpected freezes or closures without any notification as to why or how to reactivate their accounts.

3. Failure to Answer Customer Support Complaints
   It might be one thing to have mistakenly closing or freezing accounts, it is crazy to charge people without their permission, but the worst part of it all came from the fact that customer support won't respond to these customers after the fact.

Coinbase is sitting on a disruptive economy, they have the cryptocurrency world at their helm, and could easily find themselves sitting on billions of dollars. All they need to do is assure that these issues don't continue, elsewise a competitor will step in and sweep their customer base.
