Rijksmuseum - Amsterdam - is one of the best museum in the world. Rembrandt, Vermeer and Hals make this museum a beautiful place to spend couple hours. Nice post, beautiful Shot!

I love such statuary and often can stand and look at the detail in the museum for hours. This photo definitely captures that moment when the long hall recedes and fellow museum goers are a faded blur and your focus is sharp and intent on the piece. Ah, to spend afternoons in museums is a fine thing.

She is so beautiful. The Rijks was closed when I visited Amsterdam. I only got to see the Dutch painting masters collection. The Van Gogh museum was amazing though. I could live there. Maybe it is time for another visit to the Netherlands. It certainly won me over the last time. Do you live there?
