I want to send to you a picture of the leche flan I make to say thank you to you even in just a simple picture. This is my recipe of making leche flan:
Ingredients
10 pieces of raw eggs
1 can condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
My Procedure:
I separate the yolk from the egg white (only egg yolks will be used for these process).
I placed the egg yolks in a bowl then blend them to have a fastest way of mixing.
I add the condensed milk and mix thoroughly.
Pour-in the fresh milk and Vanilla. Mix well
Put llanera on top of the stove using steamer and heat in a low fire.
Put-in the granulated sugar on the lyanera and mix thoroughly until the solid sugar turns into liquid having a light brown color. This process called caramelized
Spread the caramel or liquid sugar evenly on the flat side of the mold and
wait for 5 mins. then pour the egg yolk and milk mixture on the mold
I covered the top of the mold using an Aluminum foil.
Steam the mold with egg and milk mixture for 30 to 35 minutes.
After steaming, I let it cool in refrigerator.
It is ready now to serve. I prepared this also yesterday for our town fiesta. This is a Pinoy's favorite.
