Why? Because my feed has become so cluttered that I hardly ever check it anymore and when I do, it tends to be filled with stuff I don't find interesting enough to interact with. I made a big mistake when I first joined to blindly follow nearly everyone. I didn't do a very good job of checking their accounts and if they were actually worth following for good reasons.
I'm committed to the long term success of Steemit and I need to do a better job of managing my account and focusing more on people who are here to actually interact with me and others but especially people who are here to be honest, helpful, smart, fair-minded, and most of all genuine and authentic people. People who are just trying to get rich quickly, cause drama, or cheat the system will also most likely burn out quickly also and they are also not good for the ecosystem/network in the long run, in my unfiltered opinion.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know what I have been up to lately on Steemit (lots of ignoring going on if you check my steemd.com information) and hopefully I will make more art and share more photos or do other things that you will find valuable. If I'm not interesting to you, then I'm 100% okay with any of you unfollowing me also. Fair enough?
Let me know if you have any suggestions for who are the best people to follow but also, let me know who I should for sure mute or unfollow.
Thanks for hopefully understanding my point of view and have a wonderful day! :0)
