Steemit is going to keep me off the streets, Now I can design for Steemit as my full time job

What can I say. Steemit rocks.

9 days ago, I had the worst news I could get. I was getting let go from my shitty Boston Market job as a Catering Specialist. This was essentially a death sentence, as I was struggling to survive from extremely cut hours. Try surviving for 2 weeks on a 200 dollar check!

Aside from barely surviving. I was seriously in big trouble, As the new land owners decided to hike up the pricing for rent by 200.00.. And switching off the utilities so that we would have to pay bills on that too!

It wasn't looking good guys. I'm not going to lie, I was really suffering pretty badly. Panic attacks, anxiety breaks. For all intents and purposes, I was on my way to being homeless. And if I could barely survive with a job, and roof over my head. I wasn't going to survive very long out in the cold.

Steemit changed all that for me.

You guys changed that for me. Each one of you, I owe an extreme debt to. You guys rallied to me. You guys helped me. You guys helped calm me down. And most of all, you all inspired me! I don't think I will ever be fully able to express the amount of gratitude that is inside of me. It's because of you guys, that I will be off the streets, and in here doing what I love the most. Designing.

My last post was a collection of steemit icons. It's earned so far 780.00. That's a big deal for me. That is the wage of a medium sized client. If I can keep it going, not only will I be able to sustain myself, but I will be able to grow as a designer. Re-invest some of these funds into equipment I can use to help me create more, or allow myself to enroll into some serious designing courses so I can further bolster my knowledge for designing.

You guys are literally making my dreams come true, and this is real. Very real. The most real thing I've ever had in my life.

I'll be able to focus full time on Steemit related projects from now on. I mean, the kind of content that you guys want and need. Things that can help everyone get the word out on this life changing platform. As long as the interest and support is here, I'll be able to make this a viable long-term commitment.

Well,I felt so inspired, so empowered and so grateful to you guys, that I just had to write this post.

I'm currently designing a picture for my next give-away announcement. I'll be picking the winner today. Promise. Just with all this rapidness of H19 and the fact that my post was doing so well, I had to pick up the slack on some commissions I've taken up.

So stick around for that one guys, I'm excited to work with one of you folks in helping make your dreams come true too.
