    sometimes people send money to you (usually a low amount like 0.001 steem) and they put a URL in the memo for cheap advertising. Usually it's an ad for some shady ponzi scheme.

    Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    • Disagreement on rewards
    • Fraud or plagiarism
    • Hate speech or trolling
    • Miscategorized content or spam
