Mahatma Gandhi: A Glowing Light for the World
Some people came to the world in the ages, whose leadership, philosophy changed the whole world. Those who appeared in the dark in the light of torch. People who compose all of their lives are the words of human welfare. One such person is Mahatma Gandhi. Standing for peace, he has set a different example on earth.
He was the founder of non-violent doctrine and satyagraha movement. Through the nonviolent movement, he made the whole of India united, awakened the human spirit against tyranny. And with that he took the people towards true and right, towards democracy and humanity. He is the great hero of India's freedom struggle. He is the father of the nation of India.
Gandhi was the source of inspiration for the world's most liberating people. Wherever the oppressed, the oppressed people have heard the cry of the world, where they have run away. Not only in Africa, but also everywhere in Kolkata, Noakhali, he was the guide of peace oriented people. Today's writing is about the legend Mahatma Gandhi.
He was born on 2nd October 1869 in a Hindu Mood family at Porbandar, Gujarat. His real name is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Though he is better known as Mahatma Gandhi His father, Karamchand Gandhi, was a Dewan of Porbandar and his mother, Putlibiya, was a daughter of a promising Vaisnavite group. After his birth, Gandhi grew up in his birthplace Porbandar. And there he started his primary education. From his mother's ideology and the Jain influenced environment in Gujarat, he received the greatest education of his life. Nonviolence to the creatures, to eat vegetarian, to fast for self-purification, to different religions and mutual tolerance of the community.
In 1883, when he was only 13 years old, he suddenly married a 14-year-old girl Kastubai, who chose the parents. To him, at that time marriage was not something special, his life partner Kastoubai was then only his playmate. Later, Gandhi and Kastoubi gave birth to four sons in their marriage.
Mahatma Gandhi was not very meritorious as a student. He spent many years in the student life of Porbandar and Rajkot. He received primary education in history, geography and mathematics from a local school in Rajkot. After that, he passed matriculation examination from Samaladas College, Bhandar, Gujarat. Then there was a strong desire to read the barrister on Gandhi's behalf. But since all of her family is vegetarian and conservative, nobody agreed to allow her to go to bed at the beginning, thinking that her son could forget the rule of the family completely. Later, when his elder brother allowed him to read the barrister, Mahatma Gandhi went to the University College London to study the barrister on 4 September 1888 at the age of 1888, Mahatma Gandhi.
Prior to going to London, Gandhi promised his mother and wife to stay away from meat, alcohol and women. Later in London, his life was influenced by his oath of living in India. However, he did not prevent himself from practicing any kind of attitudes. Alongside reading the barrister, he made himself capable of dancing education. During his stay in London, he used to avoid amnesia. This vegetarian diet is not only according to the mother's words, but she is a vegetarian after being well-educated enough to study vegetarianism. After a while, he joined the Vegetarian Voices Association and was elected a member of the executive committee. Then the company's local branches were also introduced. His experience is useful in many ways in organizational activities in the next life.
Then Mahatma Gandhi returned home from London. After returning to the country, it was very difficult to get a job as a lawyer, Then in 1893 he went to South Africa to work as a lawyer on Dada Abdullah's invitation. South Africa dramatically changed Gandhi's life. After going there, he was generally caught in the common inequality towards Indians and the blacks. In spite of having a valid first class ticket, one day he was forced to go to the first class room of a train from Peter Marezberg to the third class room, only to be called Indian.
During a trip to Stagecoach, a driver beat him because he did not agree to board a football board to place a European passenger. On the journey, he had to do much more trouble, he was expelled from the hotel. These incidents later played a major role in turning the gaps in social activities. Supporting the movement against racism, superstition and injustice against Indians.
There was no Indian voter right in South Africa. He also left the country for a few more days to raise the bill to recover this right. Although the aim of the bill was not achieved, this movement then became aware of the rights of the Indians of that country. Then in 1894, he founded the Natal Indian Congress. Through this organization, he organized the Indian politically.
After returning to a brief tour in India in January 1897, a white woman tried to kill him. But then Gandhi did not make any complaint against them. Then he fought for the rights of deprived people in Africa for a long time, he returned to India on January 9, 1915.
The first achievement of Gandhi's life came in 1918 with the Champaran Protests and Kheda Satyagraha. The British started an exploitation tax in the midst of severe famine and tried to increase it. After this, the situation became very unstable. Just after gathering local volunteers, he created a monastery for the villagers, and shortly afterwards, hospitals and schools established. Later, he led a well-organized protest against zamindars and led the movement. Then they stopped raising the rate of revenue and stopped collecting it till the end of the famine. During this protest, people were pleased to give Gandhi the title of Bapu (Father) and Mahatma (great heart).
In December 1921, Mahatma Gandhi took charge of the Indian National Congress. Under his leadership, the Congress took the new constitution in front of Swaraj's goal. Gandhi's weapon against injustice always had peaceful resistance and non-cooperation movement. His movement gained huge popularity at that time and participated in all the levels of people in the society. Later, on March 10, 1922, he was sentenced to six years imprisonment for committing crimes against the state, but he was released within two years of the sentence.
In the absence of Gandhi's united personality, the Indian National Congress got cracked inside. During the Non-violent Non-violent Movement of Hindus, there is a breakdown of solidarity. In order to overcome these disputes, he tried to do the work of the bridge, and in the autumn of 1924, he made a three-week hunger strike.
In December 1928, Gandhi demanded the Dominion status of the British government to the British government in the Calcutta Congress, otherwise threatened full independence along with the new non-violent policies. Then he started a new Satyagraha campaign against the imposition of tax on salt. In March 1930, he arranged a salt walk for Dandi, and with 78 companions, from 400 crescent to 400 kms from Allahabad, from 12 March to 6 April, for making salt in his own hands. Thousands of Indians are accompanying him on this journey. The British arrested 60 thousand people to take revenge But this was one of his most successful move against British rule. This movement led to the signing of Gandhi-Irwin in 1931. Gandhi was invited to London for a round table meeting. There he represented the Congress alone.
In 1942, the direct release of the Quit India Movement towards English rulers was launched. Mahatma Gandhi He was arrested again on August 9 of the same year and was kept in Aga Khan Palace in Pune. When the British pledged to grant India's independence in the end of 1943, the movement stopped and this movement stopped. Later India saw independence in 1947.
After independence, Mahatma Gandhi held a prayer meeting every morning and evening. There was talk of all religions, so that hundreds of people used to participate. Like every day, January 30, 1948, Gandhi was preparing for the evening prayer meeting on that day. At the same time, Nathuram Godse fired three bullets from a nearby pistol and noticed that on his chest, Mahatma Gandhi died on the day of Godse's death. Although his death passed this year, the whole world still remembers the great leader.
