Medical marijuana is a welcome development. It is very effective in relieving anxiety and pain. Most people are arguing that the side effects like liver and lung diseases, heart problems etc. Are going to be prevalent but I don't think that would be the case if the usage is not abused like every other drug out there.

a subject with a high and interesting matrix of opinions, I have read some of the benefits of marijuana and its use mostly in ailments and insomnia, mainly I have been tempted to try the effects, since I suffer from severe insomnia and conventional medicine has not been helpful, being the case I approve its use as long as they do not abuse the recommended doses.

in the area I live in Aceh, marijuana is no stranger to marijuana plants like a legacy that never lost in our land, our ancestors often use marijuana for medical and seasoning seasoning. My opinion, is that people who have NEVER smoked medical marijuana should not be making decisions on the legality of the herb nor should there opinion matter at all to anyone of us!
Imagine me telling a Chinese person about Chinese medicine... when I have no idea or knowledge of Chinese or their medicine, my opinion would not be meaningful or important to them...

As a long time marijuana smoker who lives in a place where It is legal to use, It saddens me that people who have never used it put it in the same category as hard drugs and they don't realize that it is less harmful than alcohol. Abusing marijuana?!? You'll just get fat and spacy. :)
I would have to agree 110% with @yogajill. There are so many uses for hemp as well.
