How would you react?
For those of you who don't know I have a 5 year old son name Mason. Mason was diagnosed with autism when he was around 2 years old. It has been a long journey since he was first born. The most frustrating part is the fact that he still hasn't learn to speak. So if anything were to ever happen to him at school we would rely on the teachers charged with his care. Maybe I am over reacting a little bit but this is not the first time that something happens to my son in school and nobody seems to know how it happened.
The first incident was they forgot to check his diaper for the entire day and he arrived home from school soaked!!!!! Nobody in the school claimed responsibility but assured us it wouldn't happen again. This is supposed to be a school that is specialized in taking care of special needs children. Can you imagine being pissed on for over five hours?
So yesterday he arrived home from school with a tooth chipped and cracked down the middle. There was no note from the school or a call from the teacher. Apparantly they have no idea how it happened. Now I am a realist and I understand that all children have accidents and hurt themselves as they learn to navigate the world. I am just bothered because I can't understand how five adults missed him getting hurt. The class only has about 6 kids and I imagine five adults can handle them. Apparantly not according to his teacher. His tooth was broken so badly he is going to need surgery!!!!!
How would you guys feel about this whole situation? I usually do a vlog or blog about crypto but today I cant even bring myself to talk about anything other than thos crazy situation. Maybe if teachers earned more they would take more initiative in their job. I don't want to make excuses but I'm trying to keep myself from turning this post into an NFSW one!!!!! But I always say if you don't like your job quit and get yourself a new one. If you are a waitress don't be rude to the customers because you hate your job. I see this play out in many different places and at the end of the day we as the consumer, client, customer and citizen end up suffering. Receiving poor or inadequate services around the board. They say money can't buy happiness but it can dam sure get you top notch everything. If my son went to a school in a middle/upper class neighborhood something like this would have never happened without an explanation of the events that occurred.
I'm sure many of you can relate to dealing with people that have special needs. Please feel free to leave a comment, tell me what you think?
Oh and best believe we put in a complaint to the Head Honcho!!!!!

Sounds like they aren't doing their jobs to their fullest potential. A lot of slacking going on. I'm a realist as well in the sense things like that happen, but with only 6 kids how do they not have an explanation of what happened. Were the teachers not monitoring their children. I don't have kids, but I believe is believe I'd be extremely upset.

I have two special needs grandchildren. If they came home in that condition I would be down someone's derriere so fast it would make their head spin. Not only would I be seeing the director of the school, I would be visiting the school board. Preferably with a lawyer in tow. I saw red when you posted this!

It. Means they have conspired not to tell you the truth, if there is another special school handy I think the best is to simply remove Mason from that school and put him in, perhaps you might get lucky. It is very unfortunate and I sympathetise with your situation.

Hmm, so pathetic, what kind of teachers do such a thing? You may be very right, most of this guys don't like their job or the pay and instead of walking away, they rather make a mess of their client. This is so bad, those teachers need to be questioned, maybe they don't know their duty. I wish your little kid quick recovery. So, sorry sir!

Well first @mrviquez whatever you decide to do now will be what your son and others will learn from..
Secondly i need you to calm yourself down, remember an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.
Thirdly i think you need to report the situation to the higher authorities..
i wish you and your family all the best life has to offer and greater heights that you may send your kid to a better school

Damn man thats messed up!
I have a nephew who is autistic and my sister went through a similar situation. They never gave her an explanation but since there hasn't been anymore issues.
The hardest part is knowing your child was hurt and you cant defend them.
I'm praying for you bro.. hold ya head!

Hey @mrviquez , Sorry to hear about your kid. As you said If this is not a one time thing, Its bound to happen again. Even with a 5:6 teacher kids ratio, If the teachers are unable to do their job. You need to get him new teachers, That is a new school. Schools are like secondary home for the kids. It plays an important role in his character when he grows up. These are the things we should be careful about.

Peace bro. Sorry this happened. Pay is no excuse for teachers not doing their jobs. They know how much teachers make, and should get another job, if theyre gonna let shit like this happen. Especially with special needs children! I'm mad for you, bro.

First off, you look so depressed in that picture ( Rightfully so ).
I firmly believe that the school should know everything that goes on around there, even during break times.
Here in South Africa we pay school fees, and most of the times the schools don't know half about what goes on in their own backyard, which is disgraceful.
If my kid goes to a school I want to know that my kid is looked after and protected. If you cannot do that then stuff you & I'll do home schooling.
I hope your little boy is going to be ok my friend.
