Neither one is easy!!!!!
I have had both types of jobs and let me tell you neither is easy. Some might think that working a desk job is easy but it's not. Yes it may not be physically demanding but it will drain you mentally. Sometimes a desk job can bore you to death!!!!
Me personally I'd rather work with my hands. The work is harder but much more gratifying. I take pride in the work I do wether it's cooking building or whatever the job entails. It feels good to finish a job and admire the final product.
So I would have to choose working with my hands any day of the week. I remember once working a telemarketing job and I was going crazy by the end of the month. I'm sure not all desk jobs are the same but how much different can they be. One thing I'd rather be is my own boss. Sometimes we have to sacrifice to get to our true destination. So if it takes a desk job or a hard labor job to get you to your dreams than go do it!
In my previous post I mentioned that I have been here for a year. I haven't been employed since July of last year. It's been rough and great at the same time. Somehow I've managed to still have my head above water. Stay focused and positive and you will see great results. Patience is the key!!!!!

All jobs have their negative side, in my opinion I think that it's better to work for yourself whatever way, although it carries a lot of risk I believe it worth it.

Definitely prefer working with my hands over a desk job, and have done both as well. The only type of desk job that I could possibly see enjoying, would be a research type of desk job where I research information on interesting subjects, and have no contact with the general public for any reason.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and it's really great to hear your Steemit Journey and you are hear while facing the roller-coaster journey. In my opinion work is depends upon our thoughts, if we don't have interest in particular work then no matter how much comfortable environment you have, you will not do that, and if you do it due to some reasons then possibly you will not enjoy that work and it will make you irritative and lead you towards frustration, so firstly we should gain the interest in our work then possibly it will not be easy but you will enjoy it. If the desk job involved writing screenplay documents I'm there. But if it eas something like playing drums I kill de bull for that job. Lemme know if you needs a drummer stunnerman!
